CFD stands for Computational Fluid Dynamics and is used in the design and modelling of most fluid flows in everything from heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), to nozzles. We have also used it on valve design to model particle flow on mixing equipment. Sparta utilizes SolidWork’s flow to provide this service (other software packages are available).
