In the final video of the 5 part series on innovation, Matt Fox (CEO of Sparta Engineering) discusses working in parallel. Read more →
In part four of the five part series on innovation, Matt Fox (CEO of Sparta Engineering) discusses how a team should approach the concept phase. Read more →
The next step in the process is parameters and defining the parameters. Setting high-value parameters is the main purpose of the innovation team. Parameters need to be balanced and the team looks for too many parameters and parameters that are non-existent. Read more →
Like all great ideas that are about to be transformed from nothing into reality, you need a group of individuals acting with intention and acting responsibly as a group to see it through. Whether you call this a board, a council, a team, it really doesn’t matter. It needs to be a team that is going to be persistent and has the desire to see it through. .. Read more →

Bridge beams and gantry cranes or both used primarily in industrial applications. Both types are very common in manufacturing facilities and material handling locations such as ship yards where they are used to handle bulk material or shipping crates. Light duty applications are common for gantry cranes and they can often be found in mechanics shops. Read more →
At Sparta Engineering, we rely heavily in computer simulations, what is technically known as Finite Element Analysis (FEA). These computer simulations work by taking larger, very complex geometry and breaks it up into thousands of tiny, simple parts that interact together (A good analogy of this is a Lego structure, where a complex object is actually comprised of many smaller, simple parts)… Read more →
