Concrete Mold

Mold making is surprising complex and requires a tight tolerance precision along with easy clean out and a repeatable process. Molds also require the designer to think about designing the empty space rather than the occupied space which is backwards from what is typical. These molds were used to create concrete barriers for UFA but we have a few different types over the years including many molds for retaining walls. Contact us for more information.

New Sparta Spreader Bar

Here is a 15t spreader bar our team designed with adjustable sling points down the bottom and adjustable top hook point. The design features the lowest profile design possible with the ability to recess the hook and the drop slings inside the structure of the bar. Bending those big channels also maxed out the 750ton brake. Read more →

Sparta Engineering Identified as a Welding Specialist

The Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) recently launched the CWB Welding Specialist Mark (WSM) Program. This program recognizes individuals who have a knowledge of welding and are welding professionals.  Candidates must apply online and meet eligibility requirements to be considered for the program. The Canadian Welding Bureau recognized Sparta and had this to say about the Welding Specialist Mark Program:

“We are able to provide welding specialists with a visible identifier that recognizes their achievements and dedication to excellence in welding standards knowledge and their commitment to upholding public safety as it is related to welded structures.” See the press release for the CWB Program here
